Joanie Wedler
Executive Director / CEO
Joanie Wedler serves as the Executive Director/CEO of Nutmeg TV, planning and overseeing all operations and corporate directives. Responsible for developing relationships with government, educators, and public/business entities, Joanie combines over 40 years of corporate, legal, finance and marketing experience as she represents and advises the corporation on its affairs. Before joining Nutmeg TV, Joanie worked many years for senior executive officers of the Aetna and other private corporations. Her broad base of business and leadership experience has propelled the growth of Nutmeg TV to the award-winning company it is today.
As a Board Director and Officer of various business and civic organizations throughout her career, Joanie is recognized in the community as a leader and sought out regularly for guidance. Joanie enjoys her two golden retrievers, Ranger and Molly and life in the rural communities of Northwest CT.

Chris Bennett
Director of Technology & Production Services
Chris Bennett has been in the video production industry for almost 20 years specializing in video engineering and production management with a passion for editing. Receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications, Chris spent his early career in southern Connecticut before finding his way to the Farmington Valley. As Director of the Production Department, he oversees all areas of production and drives technical innovations for Nutmeg TV with a concentration on the latest tech advancements in digital media and IT.
While technology and video production are areas of focus at work, Chris enjoys spending summer days in Eastern Connecticut on his boat with his rescue dog Suzy, building model railroads, and volunteering in the community.

Richard Contrastano
Production Specialist / Drone Pilot
Richard Contrastano is an audio, video and film professional with over 30 years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Central Connecticut State University. Licensed as a FAA Drone Pilot, FCC Lifetime Radio Operator and Film Projectionist, he is well versed in 16mm and 35mm film and a professional stock footage contributor. Having worked for United Artists, TCI, AT&T and Comcast cable as a video producer/editor, his script writing, videography and editing have earned professional recognition, 7 Telly Awards, 2 Hermes Creative Awards and Communicator Award. TV Commercials, podcasts, real estate videos and drone work are second nature to Rich. His primary focus at Nutmeg TV is producing video content, and our legacy media specialist digitizing film, slides, photos and home movies for customers.
Easy to work with and a joy to know, Rich gives back to his community as a Deputy Registrar of Voters in Canton and active at his local church. He enjoys classic rock and jazz music, learning about American history and a fan of the original Star Wars Trilogy.

Nathan Dionne
Production specialist
Nathan Dionne has a love for event production and sound engineering. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven, Nathan continued to grow his expertise by directing various studio and field events. He fulfills production needs for Nutmeg TV in the studio and the field, while also scheduling television programming, and administrating our legacy media services.
Outside of his work, Nathan enjoys learning about music, writing, video games and working out.

Beverly Jackson
Executive Assistant
Beverly Jackson has a vital role in bridging daily operations with the Executive Suite. As Executive Assistant, Beverly’s work for the Executive Director/CEO and Board of Directors includes everything from scheduling, confidential filings, compliance audits with state agencies and Board Director communications, to working on the budget and overseeing all department income and expenses. Her many years of experience, both in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, contributes significantly to fellow employee and customer involvements with Nutmeg TV and the office of Executive Director.
A motivated, creative and very friendly person, Beverly enjoys photography and hiking excursions with family and friends.
